CARING FOR YOUR SHEEPSKIN PRODUCTS
Place boots on the floor and slip foot into the boot with care. Your boots should feel comfortably snug or tight but not uncomfortable as good quality sheepskin will mould to the shape of your foot as you wear them in.
What if they get Wet?If your boots do get wet do not dry in direct sunlight or close to heaters. Our REAL sheepskin products are resilient to the basic elements but if they do get very wet you need to let them dry in a shaded area away from the sun and rain. The outside of the sheepskin footwear is a soft leather and is not waterproofed when you receive them, so they won't withstand the harsh elements of heavy rain and snow for very long.
We recommend using waterproofing spray can help protect the boots from rain and snow. The first time this coating is applied should ideally be when the footwear is new.
Always dry you sheepskin footwear out of direct sunlight and not in direct artificial heat. Never put into washing machine!Cleaning your UGG boots:
Your Ugg Boots are not waterproof so you will need to waterproof them. Waterproofing your sheepskin boots will protect your boots from cooking oil, dirt or water and increase their life. The first time this coating is applied should ideally be when the footwear is new.
Washing your UGG boots:Wet entire boot or shoe with cold water. Use an Ugg Boot shampoo and conditioner to a clean sponge or soft brush. Follow directions supplied with the cleaning product.
Please remember:DO NOT SOAK if possible
DO NOT USE FABRIC CONDITIONER
DO NOT USE ANY ARTIFICIAL HEAT TO DRY

Removing stains:
If you have a grease stain on your footwear, use a razor or sharp knife to scrub some powder from a white chalk over the stain, leave it for a few minutes. Then blow away the access chalk and with your hand, gently rub the stain. Repeat this a few times until the stain has almost disappeared. For extremely tough stains you can gently rub the stain with sandpaper but beware that this may take the colour away.
Removing Rain Spots:Sometimes you can get what we refer to as spotting "spotting", where the footwear has come into contact with a few drops of water. You can usually eliminate this by folding the footwear onto itself, that is skin against skin, and gently rub it together.
